Course Description

This course explores effective teaching and assessment practices, with a focus on understanding learners’ starting points, setting clear goals, and using assessment to support progress. Learners will examine how to plan and evaluate engaging teaching episodes while addressing barriers to learning, including those related to language, specific learning difficulties, and inclusive classroom practices.

Through theory and practical application, participants will develop strategies to support all learners and work collaboratively as teachers and teacher assistants to enhance learning outcomes.
