About the program
High-quality early education, from day one.
The ELI Nursery Practitioner Programme is a professional development programme designed in partnership between the Education Leaders Institute and Cambridge, supporting practitioners working with children from birth to three years to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality early childhood practice.
Across six modules, you will deepen your understanding of child development, responsive pedagogy, curriculum planning, assessment, inclusion and safeguarding, applying what you learn directly within your own setting. The programme is grounded in the Saudi Early Learning Standards (Birth to 3) and shaped by international early childhood research, ensuring your practice is developmentally appropriate, culturally aligned and of the highest quality.
You will engage in tutor-facilitated learning, observation-based tasks, structured discussions, collaborative activities and in-role application. By the end of the programme, you will have strengthened your professional identity, your pedagogical capability and your confidence in creating rich, secure and inclusive environments for babies and toddlers.

Understand how infants and toddlers learn through exploration, relationships, sensory experiences and purposeful interaction
Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based strategies that promote communication, motor development, early cognition, problem solving and emotional wellbeing

Conduct observations and use assessment information to plan meaningful learning experiences
Design and adapt learning experiences based on children's interests, developmental needs and contextual factors

Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to support learning, care, transitions and wellbeing
